With the continuing global spread of Coronavirus COVID-19, we find ourselves in somewhat uncertain times. All updates to the workshops will be on here.

September 2022. Workshops are still happening as normal and we expect things to be the same as we head into the colder months.

February 2022. All workshops are running as normal. We expect all attendees to be considerate towards others with regard to social distancing. Our tutors will continue to do a lateral flow test before each workshop.

Wednesday 24th March 2021 Hi again everyone! It is now 1 year from when everything changed. We hope you are all keeping well. As promised, we said we would keep you ‘in the loop’ while we are monitoring the current COVID-19 situation. Given the latest advice that small groups of 6 people from various households can meet up in public, we have decided that the guidance now allows us to start running our group photography workshops. We are both comfortable and confident that as our events take place outdoors and we all fully respect the 2-meter social distancing rule, carry anti-bac hand gel and use it frequently then the risk of infection can be sufficiently managed. Obviously, it goes without saying that if you have any symptoms, then you must NOT attend! We have started to add a few new dates to the website for April, more dates are to follow soon too. All vouchers that have been purchased will be valid even if the expiry date has passed, if you have any issues spending your voucher on a workshop, please get in contact with us and we will manually process your booking.

Thursday, 5th November 2020. With the recent government announcements relating to the second national lockdown, we have reviewed the Public Health England health protection regulations and taken the decision to postpone our group workshop photography events. This is not a decision we take lightly as we fully recognise the positive health benefits that can be gained from our events and in trying to maintain some form of normality in these troubled times. We will reschedule the workshops that are affected for a future date when the Public Health England guidance permits if however, you would prefer a refund then please contact us through email

Thursday 4th June 2020 Hi everyone! We hope you are all keeping well. As promised, we said we would keep you ‘in the loop’ while we are monitoring the current COVID-19 situation. Given the latest advice that small groups can now meet up, that shops for non-essential items are being permitted to reopen and outdoor markets are allowed to start trading again, we have decided that the guidance now allows us to start running our group photography workshops. We are both comfortable and confident that as our events take place outdoors and we all fully respect the 2-metre social distancing rule, carry anti-bac hand gel and use it frequently then the risk of infection can be sufficiently managed. Obviously, it goes without saying that if you have any symptoms, then you must NOT attend! The great news is the 1st workshop will take place will on the following dates: the Norfolk sunset photography workshop. – Saturday 20th June, time TBC Norfolk boat day workshop- Sunday 21st June, time TBC

Friday 20th March 2020. All workshops are postponed until further notice

Monday 16th March 2020 We at Through the Lens Workshops have been and will be continuing to monitor the situation locally, nationally and globally. At this present time, we do not plan to cancel or postpone workshops. As the situation continues to evolve if expert medical advice issued by NHS UK changes to the point where it is felt we are no longer operating within a safe environment for our staff and/or our clients, we will issue a further update and likely postpone planned workshops in the first instance until a clearer picture is available to us all.

Any updates will be posted on this page, but if you have any questions regarding this matter, please don’t hesitate to send us an email using the contact page.
