Norfolk’s Shoot then Edit Landscape Workshop

Norfolk’s Shoot then Edit Landscape workshop is a great opportunity for you to learn some of the basic principles for shooting landscape images and then the essential workflow for creating stunning images.

The day is well suited for all photographers of all abilities who love shooting landscape images and have editing software such as Lightroom and Photoshop.

The day will be based on the North Norfolk coast and will start with a 2.5-hour shoot. There will be 2 of our tutors on hand to help you with everything from getting your settings right, using filters for landscape images right through to mastering your composition.

We will then head to a privately hired location where we will stop for a bite to eat and a chance to look at your images while having a hot drink supplied by us. We will then take you through the editing essentials to give your images that special feel via a projector screen. This will then be followed up by you selecting your favourite image of the morning and us taking you through how to edit it to get the most out the shot, taking your image making to the next level………

We will cover the following….

Cropping

Correcting white balance.

Applying contrast

Adjusting shadows and highlights

Basic working in layers in photoshop

Cloning out unwanted items, litter and dust spots

Applying dodge and burn techniques

Exporting images in different sizes for various platforms

The day starts promptly with shooting the big Norfolk skies at 10am. We don’t give a start location as this allows us to remain flexible to choose a good location a few days before the start of the session depending on the weather conditions. You will receive an email on Thursday to confirm the start location for the day.

The workshop will start on Saturday 28th September at 10 am and will finish no later than 4 pm
