Adobe Lightroom Photoshop workflow day

Saturday 14th April 2018 at Open Norwich.

20 Bank Plain, NR2 4SF Norwich, Norfolk

We have being using Photoshop as our own work tool for many years  and with  Lightroom thrown into the equation, the tutors at Through the Lens Workshops are offering you a photo editing workflow day.

This full days tuition will stop you from being worried about what you are doing to editing and file management in both Photoshop and Lightroom and the use of some specific plugins.

We will supply you with a selection of images to be working with and showing you step by step instructions as we edit along with you on a projector and will have tutors on hand to help you each step of the way.

The Adobe Lightroom Photoshop workflow day is designed to cover everything that creates the everyday workflow including:

Importing and selecting of files

File management

The Lightroom library and how it works

How catalogues work

How to Crop and straighten on images in both Lightroom and Photoshop

Making adjustments to White balance, shadows, highlights and contrast

Working in layers in Photoshop

Selecting multiple images to merge in panoramic mode

Cloning and spot healing

Dodge and burn

sharpening and noise reduction

Adding a watermark

What you need to bring for The Adobe Lightroom Photoshop workflow day

For the workshop you will need to bring along your own laptop to work on.

We also recommend bring the charger along for it as well, this will need to be running at least Lightroom 6 and a up to date version of Photoshop.

The plugin Nik Effects that is free to Download we also find is very useful to have installed.

We highly recommend the use of an external mouse or Graphics tablet for this session. If you do not have Lightroom this can be downloaded and purchased for less than £10 per month from Adobe on the creative cloud. We will be supplying you with a USB with images selected by ourselves that all have various challenges in them to edit.

We will be supplying you with a at least several of the following genres of images for you to edit…..

Including Landscapes, City Nightscapes, Astro photography and portraits shoots. You will soon discover how easy it can be to edit these shots by using the correct workflow. During the last part of the session you are invited to edit your own image on your computer while we offer some assistance
